Authorised agent check helper
Enter an agent's legal name and the programme they claim to be authorised for. The tool gives you the official government authorised-agent list or the right professional register to check yourself. It does not verify the agent.
How we calculated this
This tool names the official government list or register for each programme. It does not verify any agent; open the link and check the name yourself. List URLs were confirmed on the official government sites on 2026-11-01.
Only authorised agents may file for Caribbean CBI programmes, Malta MPRP and Vanuatu DSP. For programmes with no agent list (Portugal, Greece, Italy, Cyprus, Türkiye, UAE, EB-5), the filings go through licensed lawyers or approved entities, so the check is the bar register, the USCIS regional-centre list or the provider's trade licence.
Authorised-agent lists change: confirm the list date is current and also check blacklists where published (St Kitts, Dominica, Saint Lucia, Vanuatu cancelled agents).
A marketing agent is not a filing agent. Antigua, Grenada and Vanuatu distinguish between marketers and the locally licensed agents who actually submit applications.

Questions
- Does this tool verify the agent for me?
- No. It gives you the official source. You open it, search the legal name and confirm the details. No third party can certify an agent's current status better than the official list.
- The agent uses a trading name. What do I search?
- Ask for the exact legal name registered with the government or bar. Search that name. If the agent will not give it, do not proceed.
- The agent says authorisation is 'in process'. Is that fine?
- No. Only currently listed agents may file. 'In process' means not authorised yet.
- What about Malta citizenship by investment?
- The MEIN scheme was repealed in July 2025 after the EU Court of Justice judgment in Commission v Malta (C-181/23). Malta now grants citizenship by merit at ministerial discretion; no agent can sell it. The MPRP residence programme continues through Licensed Agents.
- What about Spain's golden visa?
- Spain's investor residence permits ended on 3 April 2025 under Organic Law 1/2025. An agent offering new Spanish golden visa applications is misinformed or worse.
- A firm says it is an international marketing agent. Can it file my case?
- For Caribbean programmes and Vanuatu, no. Marketing agents introduce clients to the locally licensed agent who files. Always confirm which licensed agent submits your application.
